the cover lines show that the male wants the car to show off and look cool whereas the female would like the vcar for their family and to have gun with her husband ands make sure its safe for their family.
they have done this by using words in the cover lines to shwo that the male is i9nterseted in looking good whereas the women thinks about other.
fsamiy values and shwoingnhow they are awf and protected for a family.
the historical theme is showed by the words usd in the cover lines and the black and white. the old car
the icons of quality street - miss sweetly and major quality (two characters from the regency era or the british history)
the regency era could also be compared to the 1950s for its significant social and cultural development. between 1811 and 1837 the country was under the rule of prince regent and development in technology, fashion and architecture were mirrored by a population boom.
the 1950s saw a change in high culture, a time where fine art decadence and theatre that had previously only been accessed by the upper classes and those with the money were now going to be made more affordable to the mass audience
structure and design - the design uses a variety of bright colours to attract the audience with bright colours that are in your face a highly visible easily and this draws the attention for the audience to the advert
typography - the typography uses a variety of different fonts this is to make it stand out more and be more unique to other adverts
persuasive language techniques - by using the words what a delicious dilema implies that the variety of chocolates are tasty and easy to enjoy it also uses a technique of alliteration t make it stand out and different to other chocolates

Historical Advert Set Text
L.O: to explore the context and representations in the historical set text
- women are being shown as cleaners and to do all the work around the house while the men earn money at work. also not giving women a choice but assume they would be happier. this advert is made by men trying to get them to buy a women a hoover at the time. they are aiming it at men to as they are the one with the income unlike women were at the time.
- the advert is saying that the women is made for cooking and that is what wife's are for. they are calling the male the chef although they do none of the cooking so making them sound like they have done something where in reality they haven't. the advert is attempting to say that men are better and more important
- the women are3 doing the cleaning up m even though she is a child. the mother seems to be rearranging the shelf and cleaning up. whereas the men shown in the this advert are sat down and playing which is stereotypically showing that the women should do all of the work at home and let the men do whatever they want.
- the women is being sexually objectified and used for the males gaze. the show is a mans shoe and saying that the women belong where the shoe belongs where the shoe belongs shows that she is worthless to any and deserves to be lower down to the man which is implying that the man is superior. showing that they are lower down stereotypically saying that they are lower down compared to men. the words she and her how that they do not really care about her by not giving her a name.
- the words how her its a mans world is once again stereotypically showing that men are superior to women. they are purposely put the women lower down to the man to show superiorness once again. she is doing all of the work around the house for the man making sure that he has everything he needs to have all while he is relaxing in bed.
- they are trying to say that women aren't good enough to even cook but they are still made to do it every day. they are made to it in what seems likes maid looking clothes and the man is an expensive tux. he is also showing that the beer is very important to the man and maybe more important than the female.
- my final representation of gender roles in the 1950's are that men are more superior and that they are more important compared to women. the society was dominated by males while women were at home looking after their child and cleaning as that is supposedly their what they were assigned to by the males.
- the man in this advert is shown as the money owner and the person who creates and funs all the money in this. his tuxedo is a representation of wealthiness. Whereas the women are being objectified as they are dressed up in the same colours as the chocolate shown on the poster. this shows that men are trying to say that they re like sweets and thy they are less superior compared to men. the male in tis advert is looking at the chocolates rather then the women that he cares more about the chocolates then the women kissing him at the moment that he is in. the man being shown in the middle is trying to make out that he should be the centre of attention and not anything or anyone else.
- females are are stereotypically not in charge and males are more predominate
- males are stereotypically supposed to provide for the family e.g work money and other things
- women are stereotypically more emotional whereas males are supposedly fine and just get through things

n ideology is simply a set of beliefs and ideas, such as religious conservatism, that influences peoples' behaviours and perception of the world.
i dont agree with this a prime examples is the womens euros people say football is a mans sport but its not you see still women doing stereotypically male things therefore i heavily disagree with this.
Q1. this girl can
1b. You can also see that the pink light being shone on the girl is contrasting and emphasising the women's sweat, and also puts it in the audiences eyes to contrast the effect of empowerment and how this women is dedicated and puts in the work to get to where she is in the moment. Which emphasises with her dedication, the blue top also fights against female stereotypes and is emphasising that women are just as powerful as men so by adding this with contrasting pink light shining on the blue top on the "This Girl Can" campaign shows that he message trying to be spread is just because men can do something doesn't mean women cant. this goes agains the stereotypes and shows that women are hardworking as shown in the advert
